It’s been a long time coming, but I finally got my hands on a fresh pair of VIVOBAREFOOT Tracker Leather FG boots! These are the all-terrain hiking boots in obsidian (black), replacing my older Tracker model. In this video, I unbox them, compare them to the original Trackers, and share my first impressions on fit, comfort, and build quality.
The NOVUS by VIVOBAREFOOT is almost the perfect shoe! Amazing style, premium materials, incredibly soft and supple leather that's a dream to have on your feet! BUT apart from the glaring quality issue, they just don't quite fit. First impressions are they're narrow and lack length. Maybe because I took the insole out, who knows. All I know is I might need to give them another go to be certain. I didn't want to keep wearing these while they had the hole in the heel!

The Gobi Sneaker Premium Leather are, in my opinion, a fantastic looking show that feel great on your feet with or without socks. That's assuming they actually fit you. Unfortunately they run short and are considerably more narrow than some of their other styles.

Sadly my first experience with Xero shoes was not successful. As a Vivobarefoot fanboy I really was hoping to find an alternative but due to my foot size it simply wasn't meant to be. You may have better luck if you're a smaller size.
